Common Name: Strap Leaf Anthurium, Ribbon Anthurium, Flamingo Flower, or Hawaiian Heart

Origin: southeast Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and northern Brazil

Toxicity:

  • moderate growing long, green pendulous leaves

  • thin-shaped stems with velvety leaves

  • Requires high humidity

  • Bright, indirect light

  • Allow 1-2 inches of soil to dry before watering
