Plant Profile

  • Trailing or bushy plant with soft, velvety leaves covered in deep purple hairs

  • Produces small, orange flowers when mature, though foliage is the main attraction

  • Prefers bright, indirect light; too little light may cause leaves to lose their vibrant color

  • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorch

  • Thrives in warm, moderately humid environments (50–70% humidity)

  • Grows best in light, well-draining soil rich in organic matter

  • Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy; allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings

  • Prune occasionally to maintain shape and encourage fuller, bushier growth
