Common Name: Blue Splash Pothos

Origin: Hybrid (tropical Southeast Asia)

Toxicity: Toxic – can cause irritation if ingested

Plant Profile

  • Trailing or climbing plant with thick, heart-shaped leaves

  • Leaves are deep green with striking blue-gray and silver splashes, giving a dramatic appearance

  • Moderate grower; excellent for hanging baskets or trained on moss poles

  • Prefers bright, indirect light; tolerates lower light but variegation may fade

  • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn

  • Thrives in warm, humid environments (50–70% humidity) and temperatures between 65–85°F

  • Grows best in well-draining, nutrient-rich soil

  • Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry between waterings to avoid root rot

  • Prune occasionally to maintain shape and encourage fuller growth
